Philippe Emin became  Managing Director of Ceres in 2017 after having been a Senior Advisor of Findercod since March 2017.

Prior to joining Findercod, Mr Emin was  Deputy Head of Public Affairs at Axa Group.

Before joining Axa, Mr Emin was Director and Group Deputy Head of the Public Affairs of Crédit Agricole Group since 2016.

From 2013 to 2016, he was Counsellor to the Head of the Regulatory Policy and International Affairs Directorate of the AMF. Responsible for strategy, regulatory policy and institutional relations, he advised on these issues the Chairman and the Secretary General.

In 2010, he was appointed to the French Treasury and became Counsellor, deputy to the Minister Counsellor for financial affairs, head of the economic and monetary affairs department of the French Permanent Representation to the European Union, based in Brussels. He was the French negotiator in the European Council for financial services (AIFMD, SSR, EMIR, MAR, CRARII/III, CSDR, MIFID/MIFIR, etc.) and for company laws (EuVECA / EuSEF, Accounting, Audit, etc.). While in Brussels, Mr Emin negotiated a number of matters regarding Basel III and Solvency II, including the article 23 SII and the technical measures level 2. These enabled increased flexibility for insurance companies to extend their investment horizon.

In 2000, he joined Autorité des Marchés Financiers (“AMF”) the French financial markets regulator where he held various positions, especially in corporate finance and where he oversaw many corporate events (IPO, etc.) in the technology and other sectors.

Philippe Emin began his carrer in M&A and project finance advisory.

Mr. Emin is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Paris-Assas and a post-graduate diploma in Tax and Finance Management from the University of Paris-Dauphine. He received a L.L.M. from the LMU (Munich – Germany) and the qualification as a lawyer of member of the Bar of Paris.
