Augusto Piazza

Mr. Piazza joined Ceres as a Senior Advisor in December 2017.

From 2015 to present, Mr. Piazza was Chief Financial Officer of a company in the area of Cloud Computing.

From 2013 to 2018, Mr. Piazza is Board Member and Senior Advisor of ICC Consortium Limited, a company trading in the oil markets.

From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Piazza worked on the restructuring of the Banque AIG portfolio of products achieving the successful sale, assignment and unwind of the groups’ derivative products with major institutions across Europe and the United States.

From 1993 to 2008, Mr. Piazza was an Executive Director of Banque AIG, Paris covering France and Southern European countries across all derivative products, including foreign exchange, interest, commodity and credit products.  Its core expertise also involved structuring of tax related transactions for large corporates and banks in Italy and Spain.  He also worked on credit-related products allowing European banks to deconsolidate large pool of real-estate loans as well as consumer loans through swaps.

From 1992 to 1993, Mr. Piazza was a Manager in the Investment Banking Department of Banque Paribas, Paris covering leading French companies and European Supranational Institutions funding and swap requirements in the Euro and Swiss Markets.

From 1987 to 1991, Mr. Piazza was a Manager in the New Issue Department Investment Banking group of Banque Paribas (Suisse) and Paribas Capital Markets Group in Japan covering the fixed income markets for Japanese Sovereign borrowers in the Euromarkets and the equity-linked new issue market for Japanese corporates in the Swiss market.

From 1984 to 1986, Mr. Piazza was a legal counsel in the New Issue Department specializing on the Japanese market in Zurich and Tokyo.

From 1982 to 1984, Mr. Piazza was an Analyst in the Accounting Department of Credit Suisse, Zurich

Mr. Piazza graduated from the University of Geneva with a law degree in 1982.
